This is the Signature model hand made by Alejandro Cervantes himself. The design is based on the work of Spanish luthier Miguel Rodriguez. For his handmade signature version Alejandro chose beautiful Cocobolo Rosewood, revered for it’s warm voice that is similar to Brazilian Rosewood. The top is Red Cedar and completes the voice with it’s full, sweet character. The rosette and trim are elegant and original as well. I sat and played this guitar with every Cedar top in the shop and it amazed me at how beautifully it compares to them all. At half the price of most it's tone and feel equals the finest. We carry only the Signature Series from Cervantes which are the guitar made predominantly by Alejandro's hands. They offer superb quality, beautiful aesthetics and world-class tone. This Rodriguez is lovely, I was completely satisfied playing it. I found myself lost in the music which is for me the ultimate sign of a great guitar.
