This 2006 Brian Cohen guitar is astonishing, clear, balanced and lyrical, it is a complete instrument. It is crafted from rare Brazilian Gumbixare of stunning figure and rich and lively in voice and topped with Alpine Spruce for brilliant articulation. This Cohen guitar is exquisitely constructed, every detail is beautiful and elegant down to the Rodgers tuners. This is the first Cohen to grace our walls, but hopefully not the last.
Brian Cohen is a luthier who runs a prominent string shop in the UK as well. So he has seen many of the world's finest instruments over the years and builds from an informed position. A moment of playing on this guitar and you know that it is world-class in tone and playability. It's exquisitely crafted from top to bottom and employs the rare Brazilian Gumbixare wood for it's body. While it's appearance is that of flamed Maple, it is more rich in voice and has a deeper color and texture. It's stunning. This guitar is based on the Hauser design and clearly incorporates Brian Cohen's deep experience as a luthier.
