We are delighted to be able to offer this rare Thomas Humphrey Millenium guitar. It starts with a tremendous set of straight-grained Brazilian Rosewood and is topped with well-matured Spruce. This is a rare one where Tom used his curved ‘smiley-face’ bridge design and is a 660 scale.
Luthier, and head of Guitar at Furman University, Steven Walter went over this instrument for us and made a new bridge, refretted it and touched up the French Polish breathing wonderful new life into this wonderful guitar. This guitar is suitable for the highest level of player and has a very clear and articulate voice that is at once powerful and lyrical. This is a tremendous example of Humphrey’s great work.
We are delighted to have found this wonderful Humphrey Millenium guitar. It has some of the finest Brazilian you'll find. It arrived in need of a new bridge and setup and it was a joy to work with luthier Steven Walter to bring this guitar back to it's glory. He actually improved the tone by making a very lightweight Brazilian Rosewood Bridge that increased the power and quickness of the guitar. He also refretted it and touched up the French Polish so it's playing like a new guitar and is ready for years on the stage. We've seen a number of Humphrey and this is a great one that we can highly recommend. The voice is extraordinary.
