We’ve landed a dynamite 2011 Flamenco Negra from Lester DeVoe that boasts stunning Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, a European Spruce top, and an ultra slim, 3lbs 4oz punching weight. This guitar is fabulous, hands down. Fit and finish is flawless, the build quality just so, and we love the dynamic range of the voice. This 2011 Flamenco Negra is equally at home for Jazz, Bossa Nova, straight ahead Classical, and of course Flamenco. The neck is carved from highly figured Spanish Cedar, and the headstock features Sloane tuners with Ebony knobs and black rollers. Twin clear tap plates flank the soundhole, and the scale length comes in at an easy-playing 650mm. All wrapped up in a Hoffee flight case, what’s not to love?

Lester Devoe is considered by many to be the premier Flamenco maker today, and it’s easy to see why. Powerful, immediate, and extremely satisfying. That’s how I would describe the voice of this guitar.
