Here we have an exceptional 2007 Flamenco guitar by Luthier Juan Miguel Gonzalez. Built from Brazilian Rosewood and Spruce this Flamenco has a little more complexity of tone than its cypress-bodied brethren. the bass strings are stout and full while the mids through trebles are punchy, but still maintain a sweet tone. This Flamenco has been equipped with Fustero geared tuners, eliminating any fussing around with friction pegs, which is a welcome convenience in our book.
I love the dark tonality of the Brazilian Rosewood on this Gonzalez. The setup is perfect for fast, sizzling Flamenco arrangements.
