Here we have an exceptional 2007 Flamenco guitar by Luthier Juan Miguel Gonzalez. Built from Brazilian Rosewood and Spruce this Flamenco has a little more complexity of tone than its cypress-bodied brethren. the bass strings are stout and full while the mids through trebles are punchy, but still maintain a sweet tone. This Flamenco has been equipped with Fustero geared tuners, eliminating any fussing around with friction pegs, which is a welcome convenience in our book.

I love the dark tonality of the Brazilian Rosewood on this Gonzalez. The setup is perfect for fast, sizzling Flamenco arrangements. It's got plenty of bark, and the maple appointments are eye-catching. It is responsive and loud, fully capable of filling a room--in fact, it's hard not to.
