A nearly new 2023 Santa Cruz 00 Custom, anyone? This beauty was spec’d out with Tunnel 13 Redwood on top, Cocobolo back and sides, and a V neck with satin finish. Herringbone trim along the top; pyramid bridge plus tortoise-style pickguard. Fit and finish is typical of the Santa Cruz team, which is to say it’s very clean indeed. All wrapped up in a sleek Ameritage case.

I love the combination of Redwood and Cocobolo, lots of warmth but still snappy and clear too. I'd be as happy to pluck this one on the couch, sitting on the porch, maybe waiting on a stand by my desk for easy reach when inspiration strikes.
