We are continually impressed by the quality of work Michael Bashkin is producing. Every guitar we have played of his has had a clarity and evenness of tone that is extraordinary. Every string has something to say, but none of them compete with each other. This Placencia in East Indian Rosewood and Sitka Spruce is an absolute sweet heart to play – you could sit with it for hours and never become fatigued. We love having it here in the shop, but we know it will be happiest in a good new home!
I love Michael's guitars. His build quality is unparalleled and the tone that Michael achieves in his builds is spectacular, with a voice that is all his own. This thing practically plays itself. It has to be one of the best playing guitars we have in the shop.
