The top is simply breathtaking and voice for optimum vibrance. The bracing is deeply scalloped and employs a JDL Bridge support that allows for a light build that is very energetic. Wether you play Slack Key music or in alternate tunings such as DADGAD or CGCGAD, etc. you will love this guitar. It has a wonderful deep resonance that is well suited to low tunings, but it's also great in Standard. This one is pristine and crafted in Hawaii from a set of amazing figured Koa wood, a tonewood that is become rare in this high quality. 
This is my first experience with a guitar built by Eric Devine. I'm impressed with the modern take on the Kasha bracing and the use of the JDL bridge support. The koa wood is beautiful to look at and the inlaid hibiscus flowers add to the Hawaiian feel of the instrument.
