From the year 2000, here we have a Traugott BK with a rather unique back and sides. We have Brazilian Rosewood, with a middle piece of Ebony. The top is German Spruce, a classic Traugott tonewood combination. Abalone appointments throughout, an L.R. Baggs iBeam pickup system installed, ready for the collection, studio, and stage. To be nearly a quarter of a century old at the time of publication, the condition is truly great.

I love Jeff's guitars. They always maintain a powerful clarity, much like how a pianist wants each piano they play to maintain a certain consistency. Traugott guitars deliver that for the discerning guitarist. 
I know people love Jeff's Model Rs, but for me it's the BK all the way. You still have the exquisite balance and note separation of the R, but the bigger BK box, like here, gives your right hand more headroom to lean on the strings without topping out. For me, this added versatility helps make it one of those oft-requested, but rarely delivered, "one-person band" guitars.| Scale Length | 25.4 in |
