The lutherie community suffered a great loss with the passing of Taku Sakashta. We’re grateful for the opportunity to host one of his flattops here in the shop today. Taku built this OM in 2007 with dramatic Brazilian Rosewood for the back and sides, European Spruce on top, and several Sakashta-specific features from the scroll cutaway to the raised headstock logo. The voice is characterized by a focused, directional quality that feels immediate and defined. Additional features include doubled sides, a segmented MOP rosette with Maple purflings, and engraved MOP snowflakes position markers.

The subtle details come together to make this a very complete guitar in my opinion. Taku's instruments have inspired a generation of builders and players, and for good reason. This OM is so beautiful and unique. 
It's an honor to be the steward of this guitar for while here at the shop. Taku Sakashta left behind such an incredible legacy with his innovative guitar designs and inventive application of curve and contour.
