For demo only, NOT FOR SALE: Jordan McConnell has been a friend of Dream Guitars for some years now. He’s visited us regularly while touring with his Grammy and Juno award winning group The Duhks of Canada. Somehow he’s managed to build over 30 guitars while touring the world as a player. We commissioned this very special Brazilian Rosewood and German Spruce 16 Inch nearly two years ago after playing several of Jordan’s instruments that blew us away. In his young building career he’s already crafted guitars for Celtic Guitarist John Doyle and Seth Avett of the Avett Brothers. He can now add Dream Guitars owner Paul Heumiller to the list as Paul has fallen in love with this multiscale beauty.

Jordan McConnell is a wonderful example of a modern builder that is willing to look at everything being done in the guitar world and blend it into his own creations. We commissioned this guitar and Jordan took it to the next level adding wonderful touches that surpassed our expectations, like the carved bridge, detailed purfling work and custom tuners. I've spent a lot of time with Jordan during his visits to DG and he's a very gifted player and has wonderful ears. Seeing the instruments he likes in our shop I can tell you he has great taste and is building to it, chasing his own voice and he's found it. Jordan delivered this guitar to us at the Swannannoa Gathering Guitar Week and in the first few moments I got to play it and hear it played by Tony McManus, Al Petteway, and Vance Gilbert. I was blown away and decided I had to have it. Now that it's back at the store, it sounds even better, having opened up handsomely in the intervening years. 
This is one of the best all-around guitars I've ever played. To give you an idea of how much we liked it, Paul sold his prized Traugott so he could buy this one when we had it in the store the first time. The tone is perfectly balanced and the overtones go on forever. It helps that Jordan is such a great guitar player. He knows what makes a guitar great and he knows how to make one too.
