Bill Tippin is a dyed-in-the-wool master, the same goes for Al Petteway, and when the two get together the result is nothing short of inspirational. This is a 2009 Al Petteway Signature Crescendo with impeccable Brazilian Rosewood & Moonspruce—wood of this calibre is exceedingly rare, and it’s a blessing Bill got a hold of it in the first place. Brazilian Rosewood trim throughout, an arm bevel and beveled Venetian Cutaway/heel joint, and Bill outdid himself with custom Mexican Fire Opal inlays at the nut, and on both ends of the backstrip. You’ll find a soundport in the upper bout, and a custom Hoffee flight case to keep everything safe and sound.
