Our 2009 G2 from Tom Bills packs quite a punch with his soundhole-less design that maximizes the efficiency of the SInker Redwood top (plus Indian Rosewood body) for a voice that’s equal parts power, warmth, and punch. Additionally, the soundport offers a great in-ear experience for the player, making it much easier (and richer) to hear yourself. Flame Koa bindings throughout set off the Rosewood & Redwood combo, and an L.R. Baggs Lyric pickup system has been installed to carry all of that faithfully onto stage with you.

Tom Bills' G2 is an innovative design that moves the soundhole to the side of the instrument, allowing the bracing, and in particular, the intersection of the X, to be moved forward where the soundhole would be. This allows the maker to take advantage of more energy in the top in and around the bridge location. The sound out front is still wonderful, clear and loud in the driver's seat.
