Here we’ve landed one of Bruce and Matt Petros’s T-13 Gold Special Limited models (number 15 in fact), sporting a dark set of Brazilian Rosewood for the back and sides, Tunnel 13 Redwood on top, and extensive vine inlays along the fingerboard, rosette, bindings, bridge, and neck. The result is rococo and resplendent. The voice is rich and articulate at the same time, with great balance across the registers that blends well for both big chords and solo work. The light Butternut neck has a baby-soft V profile that feels oh so nice in hand, and the nut is a touch wider at 1 25/32″ for added room for the left hand. This 2010 Petros Tunnel 13 Limited comes wrapped up in a custom Karura case for those rare moments when you aren’t playing it.
