This is one of the best Petros guitars I have played, and trust me, I've played many. It has such a vibrant tone! Put just a little energy into it and it gives it back ten-fold. Bruce really pulled out all the stops when he chose the woods for this guitar: Ceylon Satinwood is said to be even more rare than Brazilian Rosewood. When I tuned it to DADGAD--that's when the magic really kicked in. I'm used to smaller guitars losing their edge when played in lowered tunings, but the Yellow Rose remained crisp and responsive the entire time.
