Jeff’s guitars are equally at home with picks as with fingertips, and we couldn’t help ourselves when it came time to dip into altered tuning territory—this is an incredible DADGAD guitar. Jeff is one of the preeminent guitar builders of the modern world. This pair of six and 12 strings is a wonderful celebration of his talents. The Brazilian Rosewood sets are of the highest quality, and the Tiger Eye inlays by Larry Robinson are sublime. Close up they are esoteric and intriguing, but from across the room you’d swear a tiger was lurking nearby. The tone of these two instruments is exactly what I've come to expect from Jeff: sublime clarity and deep warmth as only the hands of a master can create.
