Spec’d out with a long 27 inch scale (but voiced for light gauge strings, aka not a baritone) in Jeff’s classic Brazilian Rosewood/German Spruce combination makes for a snappy response and sweet note definition across the range. And don’t be scared off by the long scale–this Model R plays very well indeed, set up for fingerstyle ease all along the fretboard.
The added scale length gives his Model R extra power, and I love it. Classic Traugott note separation, with even more push than usual. This is perfect for C tunings. 
Woah! I absolutely do not want to put this one down. The 27 inch scale makes for an extra snappy and energetic voice, and set up with light strings it still plays very easily. I love how the notes leap right out of the soundhole.
