This 2018 16 Inch model from Jordan McConnell is a lot like Paul’s personal McConnell: Brazilian Rosewood over Moonspruce, 26.25-25.5″ multiscale, and oh. so. beautiful. The fingerstyle response is surgically precise, from Standard to Cadd9 and onward to more esoteric tunings. I personally play a Jordan McConnell guitar very similar to this as my main instrument. Jordan has done what few others have: he builds a complete guitar. By that I mean one that has everything people ask me for all the time. Big beautiful bass, strong projection, great clarity, warmth and beauty, and power to spare. I don’t know how he does it, but he does. Everyone I ever have the honor of showing a McConnell guitar is immediately inspired.
