Brand new Kopp L-02, anyone? This beautiful little blues machine features Mahogany back and sides, a torrefied Adirondack Spruce top, and a dark sunburst with tiger stripe pickguard for maximum mojo. We love how easily this L-02 plays; and the baked Adi top gives the voice a crisp and opened up flavor we’d expect from a proper vintage cannon, but here in a shiny new package. The short scale (24.75”) neck lends warmth and bloom, and we loved taking this one down to Open D for some country blues fingerpicking.

We custom ordered this guitar from Kevin. The torrefied Adirondack top is already speaking like 100-year-old guitar. This one is wide open with a breath of added dynamic range and pleasing tones on every area of the fretboard. The Mahogany body creates a big push in the bass response and clarity and allow the trebles to sing and sparkle. The look is all 1930s, the feel and playability is all 2019.
