Bruce Petros first discoovered the fabled Tunnel 13 Redwood several years back from Redwood timbers after the “The Last Great American Train Robbery” led to the collapse of Tunnel 13. Having now harvested the majority of those beams from Tunnel 13, folks have now gained access to the Redwood of adjacent Tunnel 14. Brian’s guitars are reminiscent of Jim Olson’s work, but Brian’s taken his voices in his own direction for a modern, balanced sound. It’s excellent for fingerstyle, hands down. The florentine cutaway helps keep those upper frets dust-free, and the slinky smooth setup is equally inviting! All wrapped up in a custom Ameritage case, this Applegate SJ is very, very ready to get down to the business of making music.
