So good, and so gone. We couldn’t manage to hold onto this brand new Keystone SJ for a second before a lucky client snatched it up! This is our latest spec build from Keisuke Nishi, which Paul based off his personal specs. Thus, premium Brazilian Rosewood back and sides (as well as bindings, bridge, fretboard, headpalate—and neck!) with German Spruce on top, multiscale setup at 26.25-25.5”, and an exquisitely executed inlay sprawling along frets 4-10.
This one-piece BRW neck is a real gem, and part of what gives this Keystone its very clean, very dynamic sustain and projection. What a voice, this one has. The bass response is thunderous, yet paired perfectly with a present midrange and smooth trebles. It’s practically perfect.
