From the bench of the legendary Lynn Dudenbostel, we have a 2021 000-18 crafted from Honduran Mahogany and Carpathian Spruce. The grain on both the Spruce and Mahogany is staggeringly good, and it’s reflected in the tone — wide spacing at the saddle and nut, EVO frets, and a minimalist, natural aesthetic. The burst is exceptionally well-executed, with a perfectly graduated fade. This is one of those guitars that speaks for itself, and it’s also offered at an excellent price.
Lynn is best known for his mandolins, which are truly exceptional. However, a well-kept secret in the guitar world is that his guitars are absolutely out of this world. I love the warmth and balance of this 000-18 — it's a guitar you can truly get lost in.
