In this case, we worked with Don Musser in an homage to Gram Parsons’ David Russell Young dreadnought, right down to the extensive inlays along the fingerboard and headstock, bridge, and three-piece Brazilian Rosewood back. On top, Engelmann Spruce with a red burst, and Brazilian Rosewood body bindings plus Abalone trim for added dressings. The voice is very quick and lively, exceptionally energetic considering it’s only been making music for a short while!

I knew Don was the man for the job when a client approached us about building a recreation of the Parsons DRY guitar. And he more than knocked it out of the park too, the extensive vine inlays are very well done and he pulled out some special Brazilian for the three piece back.
