Gage Halland is a great example of how the boutique guitar world has evolved. He apprenticed with one of the very best, master builder, Michael Greenfield, and then, on his own, has developed his own voice, his own style and innovations and the result is a guitar that to me is quite complete. It seems to be happy, playing any genre, being hit hard or lightly, and always gives it all. Inspiring. 
Gage Halland, how do you manage to keep building such masterstrokes? I'm flabbergasted. Individual notes have superb strength and definition, with a lively string energy and muscular projection. Sweet trebles brighten up the mix, and the African Blackwood-informed bass register and mids are chocolate-rich.
