There really isn’t much more to say about the qualities of Kim Walker’s works; this L-00 Nick Lucas model is evidence of why Kim is held in such high regards by everyone in the world guitar building. True magic at work here– Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, along with absolutely stunning European Spruce on top. Do not judge this guitar by its size, it has the volume of an instrument many times its stature.

What a rare beauty, a small 00 body shape with a gorgeous shaded top from the renown Kim Walker. This guitar has energy and power and clarity. Plenty of attitude for blues and rags but also has enough elegance to play whatever you want to bring to the table. Truly great.
A piece of heaven I'd be happy to hold for the rest of my days. But alas, I have to offer this one up. Strong, engrossing sonority in the bass register--especially for a small bodied L-00 design--is perfectly matched with expansive mids and a top end that's clear, strong, and present.Here the riches are deep, indeed. Kim Walker is one of my all-time favorite builders, and it's a joy to experience one of his latest L-00 builds, this time with deliciously figured Brazilian Rosewood. The voice saturates the air around me with incredible depth, especially considering the slim proportions.
