From the workshop of Tyler Robbins we have this incredible R.1ca, African Blackwood and Italian Spruce are the main ingredients for this creature, and what a creature it is! Lined in koa, with a cicada motif. You will see the truss rod cover has an engraved cicada on the cover, as well as an inlaid cicad on the back. What a wonderful wood combination. African Blackwood brings it's deep warmth and fullness and Italian Spruce adds it's magical sparkle. Together there is beauty galore and a captivating essence to the sound that delights the ear. For the eyes Tyler adds all of his unique aesthetic, a bevel, a bevel soundport and gorgeous inlays throughout. 
The voice has a quality of glittering darkness that immediately grabs me. Exquisite note definition and color. Then Tyler matched that with an extensive series of curves and cicada inlays along the back, headstock, rosette and endgraft for an articulate visual aesthetic.
