This guitar has a gorgeously unique voice thanks to the Walnut/Redwood combination. The Redwood top on this one has dead straight grain and a tone as rich as it’s looks. Brian added Gold Pearl Fleur-de-lis inlays making this a real showpiece. Built for Healdsburg 2005.
The top of this guitar is superb Redwood. Straight grained with gorgeous hues and it puts forth a riveting tone that warm and rich, yet powerful as well. The Walnut adds punch and quickness and the sum is a very complete guitar. The figure of the back and sides is stunning and it's set off nicely by flamed Koa bindings and the Fleur-de-lis inlays in Gold Pearl.
