The Beardsell design features advanced construction ideas such as radial back bracing, a smaller soundhole with large soundports on the side insuring the players gets full enjoyment of the tone. Alan’s neck profile is one of our very favorites, with a bit more mass on the treble side and slimmer top third. This one also comes with Calton Flight case which are now sell for $950. Alan built this guitar for me and I absolutely love it. I have spent many a wonderful evening on my porch playing out at the mountains. It's inspired a number of songs and given me countless pleasures. The Brazilian Rosewood is nothing short of spectacular and it lends beauty for the eye and the ear. The top is lovely Adirondack and has great headroom and sparkle. You can play this one hard or soft and be rewarded with a gorgeous voice that is clear and pure. The neck feel is superb, I think Alan's neck shape, along with Bruce Sexauer's,is the best around. The little extra mass on the treble side makes perfect sense for fitting the hand and playability and sustain. I'll miss this one, but alas I can't keep them all...
