This instrument is one with excellent focus and distinction between the strings thanks to the 12 fret body joint, as well as superior sustain for those who like to draw out their notes. The highly figured Flamed Maple and Italian Spruce are reactive and extremely well suited to precise playing styles, but in Mario’s hands they have a subtle complexity and warmth that open new possibilities to players seeking inspiration in unexplored directions.
