Here is a short scale powerhouse 000 from Canada’s Marc Beneteau. Figured Mahogany and Cedar pair up here for a quick responding small body guitar that is loud and has that wonderful Mahogany growl. Don’t stereotype the Cedar top here, modern builders have learned to leave it thicker and get bit power out of it. You can hit this one hard. I love the wood combo here. In recent years we are seeing more and more Cedar tops that can be hit hard. I believe builders have learned to leave it a little thicker and it's still responsive but you get headroom and drive. This one is loud and strong. It loves to play blues and rags, but you can also call up sweet, warm emotion.
