The Mahogany and Red Spruce dreadnought is a sound we all know and love. This combination has been used on powerhouse guitars since the introduction of the famous D-18. Dana Bourgeois has been adding his special voicing to Adirondack tops for years and knows how to pull out the tone. This Georgia Dreadnought has a very even grain on the top all the way across. It’s been played just enough to be coming alive and it’s a strong one.
Dana sure knows how to work with Red Spruce, this one has a lot of tone and power all the way up the neck. It's a great guitar for lead work and flatpicking of all kinds. A mature Adirondack top is worth a lot and this one is a great top with even grain all the way out. Here's your next Dread!
