This model was a collaboration between fingerstyle master Martin Simpson and luthier Dana Bourgeois. The idea was a fingerstyle 12 fret slope D that would provide power missing in many fingerstyle instruments and also work well for strumming and flatpicking. The addition of a fallaway cutaway that grants full access to the 15th fret and generous string spacing make it an oustanding fingerstyle guitar and one of those rare designs happy to flatpick as well. This one has been perfectly preserved in like-new condition by it’s owner.

Based on a 12 fret slope D with an added cutaway and fitted with wider nut and saddle spacing you have a powerful guitar at home playing fingerstyle or being flatpicked. Fingerstylist will love the 2 3/8" right hand spacing and rich, full bass response. Great for any style of music. This is the cleanest example of this model we've ever see, just perfect so it's collectible as well as infinitely playable...
