We originally custom ordered this gorgeous CB (Chris Bozung) Special guitar and requested premium Brazilian Rosewood and Adirondack spruce for a powerful prewar style tone. From the CB website: “Although the width of the body is slightly smaller than a dreadnought the CB Special’s extra-deep body means that it gives up very little “air space” to its larger-body cousin. The extra depth of the body provides the volume and power of a larger body, while the slightly smaller body width serves to focus the tone.The CB Special, aside from being an exceptionally beautiful instrument, is a pint-sized powerhouse whose surprising volume, clarity and focus of tone will satisfy even the most experienced and discerning player.” We couldn’t agree more, this is a little monster.
Well Chris [Bozung], you impressed Al, no need for me to add much else except I can tell you that I agree wholeheartedly. I love this guitar and I can assure you I'll play it a bunch while it's here 
After working at Dream Guitars for a couple of years, it takes a lot to impress me. These new Chris Bozung guitars impress me. I love the vintage Gibson vibe, but they sound so much better than the old Gibsons. This Special is reminiscent of the Gibson Nick Lucas with its deeper body size, but sounds like a combination of a prewar Gibson and a Martin. Very cool | Scale Length | 25.25 in |
