We commissioned this GC with the powerful combination of Cocobolo Rosewood and Red Cedar. The idea was to have a responsive guitar with a warm top end. Bill certainly delivered, the voice is tremendous and the woods look very elegant together. The Rosewood bindings finish it with class and Bill’s wonderful neck shape is one of our favorites.

I love this wood combination both tonally and aesthetically. It's beautiful for the eyes and the ears. I especially the subtle use of rosewood for the bindings that keeps this one understated and lovely. Bill's necks are ultra comfortable and his setup and fretwork is top notch.
This is probably the most Olson-like of all of the Charis guitars I've seen. The mids are clear a bright and the chord definition is outrageous.
