John Slobod, builder of Circa Guitars, has made many instruments with Julius Borges and Dana Bourgeois and is one of the modern luthiers building guitars as good or better than the prewar giants. Here is this 7/8th Dread, John has designed a versatile guitar that can handle both flatpicking and fingerstyle duties with ease and is more comfortable to hold. The Cocobolo and Adirondack body put forth a strong voice, at once clear and warm. There is nothing this guitar cannot do. The craftsmanship is impeccable, something else Slobod is known for. These tend to fly out the door, so don’t miss your chance.
John is not only a tremendously gifted builder but a great guy. So there is extra mojo in his guitars I think. They just want to make music and they inspire the player. I am certain I will own a Slobod one day and Al Petteway uses one regularly. You just can't find a better modern take on the vintage designs. 
John Slobod is in my top five luthier list. This smaller bodied dreadnought is an amazingly versatile guitar that can go either way. It's a wonderful guitar to flatpick, but it's voice is also perfect for fingerstyle.
