Here we have a Sunburst Collings 01SB in Sitka Spruce and Mahogany. Collings and Co. certainly know how to build a great guitar, the tone is incredible and the bang for the buck is phenomenal. Tonally this little guitar is all sweet tones and woody growl. Play it softly and it will sing sweetly, dig in for some blues and you will have a bull dog on your hands! If you are looking for a serious instrument for playing out or just for the sheer enjoyment of playing, this one will not let you down.
Playing this guitar is just an all around great time, There really isn't anything that it can't handle. I can always expect great tone from a Collings, it's scary how good they are at putting out consistent instruments, never a dud to be had. I could take this one out to the porch and play it till the moon comes up, and that would be just spectacular.
