The only thing that can make a Collings Mahogany/Adirondack CJ with a sunburst even better is a Varnish Finish. Well this one has it all… We love a great sounding Mahogany/Adi slope shoulder and this one is killer. The Varnish Finish option allows all the tone to escape and this is a responsive guitar. Flatpicker with enjoy it’s big, bold voice and the wider fingerboard will also please those who wish to fingerpick. This one is in mint condition and has a pickup installed as well, so it’s ready to go.
The owner of this guitar is a good customer of ours who takes tremendous care of his instruments. This one is mint and plays like a dream. The Varnish Finish is very noticeable and enhances volume and projection. It's also gorgeous with more of a yellow hue to it that adds some vintage vibe. The wider board means this one is very versatile as well.
