Here we have a classic: a Collings OM3 in Mahogany and German Spruce. The Mahogany is rich in color, matched by its gorgeously streaked German Spruce top. The superb tonewood selection and flawless build quality are evident not only visually, but also in its voice: with its strong, even trebles and that classic Mahogany punch in the mids, this guitar is a joy to pick and strum.
This baby is great for any kind of fingerstyle, but when you dig in with a pick it has the headroom of a much larger instrument. Collings makes some of the best player's instruments out there and this is one that will outlast even the hardiest guitarist.
