Here is like-new Collings OM with mere hours of play on it. The ‘3’ indicates the addition of a select abalone rosette, bound fingerboard and double bound peghead, clean fingerboard and gold Waverly tuners. More importantly the ‘G’ indicates a German Spruce top which makes this a very special Collings guitar. German Spruce brings greater clarity and brilliant headroom to this beautiful guitar. It’s a nibble fingerpicker and also works great for solo work. Players such as Pete Huttlinger use the Collings OM.
Collings OMs offer power, clarity and brilliance. This one has been played just enough to begin to open nicely. If not for one top scratch it would be perfect, the setup is great and plays easily. This is a classic wood combination that's been proven time and time again. This OM is extremely versatile and can easily move between genres and techniques.
