Home / Shop / 2012 D.L. Wilson D-18 Works with Wayne Henderson Mahogany/Adirondack
Don Wilson has been working in the shop of Wayne Henderson for some time. He builds just a few of his own guitars each year and this is the first we’ve seen. We are here to tell you it’s a fine guitar with serious tone and great vintage vibe. This is a D-18 with a beautiful Shaded Top, Fossil Ivory nut and saddle and sporting a set of gold Waverly tuners with Snakewood buttons. This Wilson guitar has plenty of headroom and likes to be hit hard. The wide grain spruce top rings clear and the mahogany insures great projection. This is a wonderful bluegrass guitar.
