Hear Ye! Hear Ye! what we have here is one serious Dreadnought guitar. This is a top of the line Froggy Bottom D with the works. It is labeled ‘The Wedding Guitar’ and was built by Michael Millard to commemorate his wedding. For starters there is killer Brazilian, tight and quartered with just enough figure to make your eyes glaze over, than there is 42 style top trim, Fleur-de-lis fret markers, etched Waverly tuners, Maple bindings and an abalone backstrip topped off with a scrimshaw heelcap and butt wedge with a ‘moon in the pines’ theme. If you are after a special Dread, something really special, you simply must listen to this one.
We are always impressed with the quality of Froggy Bottom guitars but this one is over the top... This is a top of the line Froggy Dread with premium Brazilian and Adirondack, deluxe appointments including our favorite scrimshaws to date, 'the moon over the pines'. The voice is killer, this one is a cannon with big bass and strong, hearty trebles. From full out flatpicking to strumming this is the real deal. Just look at the woods on this one...
