This is a stunning Galloup Northern Lights crafted from Flamed Maple and Bearclaw Sitka Spruce. This Galloup guitar is also bound in Flamed Maple for a elegant appeal. Brian designed his Northern Lights for recording and it does indeed have great balance and clarity, but the slightly larger body also makes this a versatile beauty. It strums and fingerpicks equally well and would make a great stage guitar with it’s awesome Flamed Maple!
The Maple set on this Galloup guitar is gorgeous. I really like the responsive voicea and the body size is perfect for an all-around guitar. I feel I can play just about anything on this one! 
I'm a fan of well-made maple bodied guitars. There's something about the warmth of the response and the sparkly highs that really gets to me. After all, every other high quality stringed instrument is made from curly maple, so it must have some great tonal qualities. This one has an exceptional bass response, probably due to its deeper body size. It's a good strummer or fingerpicker and it's pretty to look at too. | Scale Length | 25.5 in |
