This is a cool reissue of the first ever acoustic guitar to have an electric pickup back in 1950. This is #26 of 100 limited edition models built by Gibson to commemorate this CF-100e. The small body, made from Mahogany and Spruce, has a spunky sound acoutically and really shines when plugged in. The sunburst is gorgeous and the pickup sounds great and we loved it for Swing, R&B, well… 1950’s music. Don’t miss this rare, limited edition Gibson Guitar.
This is a fun guitar. We strung it with Nickel strings to get the most from the pickup and plugged in it sounds great. The P90 is strong and Al couldn't help but play Swing and Blues on it. This would be a great choice for the gigging player who pounds chords with the best of them. Plus it's 1 of only 100 made, so it's rare as well. 
The original version of this guitar was the only model Gibson made during the 1950's with a cutaway. It has a good tone and a lot of vintage vibe. The P-90 pickup works well for plugging into an electric guitar amp. | Scale Length | 24.5000 in |
