This 1956 Gibson J-50 would be a good strummer or folk guitar, just like it was when it was new. The neck is streamlined and comfortable for someone who has relatively small hands. The Mahogany/Spruce body puts forth that classic Gibson tone that we all know and love from so many great recordings. This one is very original and setup great.
This guitar is very easy to play and I just love the Gibson Mahogany Jumbo voice. Great for boom-chang, bluegrass or singer-songwriter situations. A real vintage gem.
