Here we have a very rare transitional L-1/L-00 from 1929 with the Robert Johnson specs. Only about 200 of these were made with these specs. The gorgeous dark brown sunburst is absolutely breathtaking. This beauty has been recently renovated by master luthier Bill Tippin so it should not need any work for a few more decades. The tone is simply magical, it’s as light as a feather and the notes fly out on wings.
This is the old Gibson we all dream about, perfect playability and huge voice. It's one of those featherweights that jumps off your lap when you play. As one old time picker here in the mountains would say, "this is the kind of guitar you put on stage and it plays 3 songs by itself!" A little beast for sure. 
This is the classic Gibson acoustic from the '20's that everyone loves. It's got that "sound" and it plays like a dream. Even though there is a considerable amount of visible wear, the guitar is in fantastic playing condition and is set up perfectly. This is probably due to the fact that it belongs to professional Old-time musician Adam Tanner. I would love to have this guitar, personally, but Adam won't give it to me.
