This is a Goodall Baritone based on their curvaceous Jumbo body shape complete with a cutaway and Gotoh 510 Tuners. The body is gorgeous Cocobolo Rosewood with superb grain and dark red and purple hues. The top is rare Bearclaw German Spruce that is beautiful aesthetically and tonally. Its voice is clear and poignant and clear and the large body offers up ample bass and overall power. This guitar is like-new and pristine.
As many of you know I'm a baritone fan and player and I highly recommend anyone interested to explore this wonderful world. You can tune a baritone to standard or any of the lower tunings, of course all at a lower relative pitch. The scale is 28" which is a 'medium' baritone scale. Most fall between 27.5" and 29". It is very manageable and you can easily get to low A tunings with Baritone strings (.16 - .70) or stay up around C or D with lighter strings. I constantly used different sets for different sounds/tunes. If you like to write music you will get swept away with the wonderful baritone sound, low and rich and inspiring. I've written numerous pieces just because I was on a Baritone, it's a joy. So treat yourself to a new sound, a new instrument but one you can play right away with what you already know.
