This is a stunning Goodall Rosewood Grand Concert. The rich Cedar top is bordered with Abalone trim that matches the rosette. The headstock is also trimmed with Abalone purfling and the fingerboard and bridge are adorned with Abalone Doves. The body, neck and headstock are all bound in sumptuous curly Koa. There’s also Fossil Ivory nut, saddle and bridge pins and last but not least Gold Waverly tuners. So as you can see in the photos below this is a stellar Goodall RGC, but what you can’t see is how good it sounds. That lush, complex Goodall voice is here in spades. Be sure to listen to the clips.
This Goodall Guitar is beautifully appointed with tasteful Abalone purflings and Doves in flights. Along with the vivid curly Koa bindings on the entire guitar they make this is a unique and lovely Goodall RGC. The tone is all Goodall with complexity and overtones and this one is particularly full and rich sounding. It plays with ease and I love the Fossil Ivory nut, saddle and pins, it gives it a high class look and feel.
