We hand-selected this beautiful Flamed Koa Hoffman Jumbo at the 2006 Newport Guitar Festival. We chose it for it’s sparkling voice and incredible beauty. From its bearclaw Sitka top to the handmade Koa rosette and purflings, this is one spectacular guitar.
Charlie has been building for over 30 years and has influenced many of today’s great builders. You can hear his experience in the voice of this short scale, shallow body Jumbo guitar and you’ll feel it when you play it.

The short scale makes this guitar very easy to play. The treble strings are very sweet and full and easily heard thanks to the shallow body design. This is an extremely well made guitar with stunning woods, showcasing Charlie's experience in the business. 
I really like this guitar. The thinner body compensates for the large bout making it a perfectly balanced instrument. I love how all of the melody notes sing out, even from the middle of a dense chord. The koa is really beautiful too. | Scale Length | 24.7500 in |
