This is a beautiful guitar with great character for anyone enamored with the magical. It also has a slotted headstock and a soundport as well as a full Abalone border on the top. Best of all it has the tone, it’s very loud and clear and is well suited for everything from blues to pop. It takes the pick as well as fingers. This would make a great stage guitar with it’s magic theme.
I am thoroughly impressed by this guitar. It is one of the very finest Lakewood guitars I've played. I'm sure the premium Brazilian and European Spruce have something to do with it and these are very pretty examples of both woods. I love the magical theme on the Fingerboard and it is echoed in the rosette as well. The soundport gives you just a bit more volume when you are in the driver's seat but this one is so loud and strong you won't need it. I sense this is a great fingerstyle guitar for any genre where a powerful small body is well suited, Blues, Rags, Celtic and Contemporary. It's versatile enough for the pick as well.
