Players like fingerstyle champion Todd Hallawell choose to play Jenkins for their versatile, power and clarity. This 000 Chameleon is crafted from Myrtlewood and rare ‘Lucky 12’ Bearclaw Spruce. This spruce is from a log that was salvaged from a floating home for Alaskan loggers decades ago. It is premium Sitka Spruce with all the tonal benefits of having been submerged, something that some theorize made Stradavarius Violins so special. This is a very unique and special guitar.

I finally got to here Todd's up close and it's amazing the power and tone they produce. The design of the Jenkins Chameleon 000 is a great one, braced for power and clarity in a shape that's easy to hold. This beauty features a superb set of Myrtlewood with a Lucky 12 bearclaw spruce top and gorgeous Clay/Polymer headplate and matching rosette. The Lucky 12 is a very rare upgrade, this top was salvaged from a floating logger's home in Alaska. The tree was felled in the 1950s and kept on the water for decades. This makes for amazing tone, some theorize that part of the magic of the Stradavarius tone was that he submerged his lumber for years. This one also has the Jenkins adjustable neck which allows you to easily set the action for your personal taste. This is a very versatile guitar that any player would enjoy
